Description

The POPE Professional® AS Series 2-way built-in loudspeaker has an exceptional high quality and very good bass response. This ceiling loudspeaker is outfitted with an auxiliary HF cone coupled to the LF cone to provide a smoother, more extended frequency response in comparison to other drivers. It is equipped with an integral multi-tap 70/100 Volt line transformer. The steel back can is fitted with unique clamps that can significantly reduce installation time. The driver/baffle assembly easily fitted in the pre-mounted back can.

It can be used as 8 ohm or 70/100 Volt loudspeaker. In 8 ohm use, you can connect up to 4 or 8 or 16 loudspeakers in parallel and series on each channel of a standard 4 ohm amplifier. For 70/100 Volt use, the AS Series is equipped with a high-quality 1.25 to 40 watt 70/100 Volt transformer with several power tapping. The loudspeaker has 5", 6" and 8" enforced polypropylene woofer and 1" tweeter. Due to this enforced woofer, the loudspeaker has a very low distortion. It makes the AS Series very suitable for the distribution of microphone calls and background music at a higher volume level.

The housing is made of high quality ABS with metal can in rear. The loudspeaker is easy to install, due to its simple, quick mounting system. The AS Series standard color is white RAL9016.
